ALTAVEST Direct - Vantage Online

Vantage is a futures and options order entry system designed for traders just like you!

Vantage is an application-based program that transmits its data via the Internet. Vantage also provides real-time quotes (electronic markets), charting capabilities with technical studies, market research, real-time account information, and more! Vantage is a powerful trading tool; therefore ALTAVEST recommends that beginning traders work with a broker before attempting self-directed online trading. Contact your ALTAVEST broker for more information about Vantage.

Vantage is an order entry system intended for use by all types of market participants. It will provide users with the ability to place futures and options orders, have access to market depth and real-time quote information, and perform data analysis with charting.

Futhermore, Vantage provides comprehensive views of all activity to ensure that you always have a clear view of what trades have taken place and their current status. Most of all, Vantage allows you the latitude to customize and reshape the program according to your style and preferences. Get ready to let Vantage take your trading to the next level!

The Quote Page

The quote page window allows you to view up to 200 contracts across 1 to 10 tabs, which can be named and organized to your liking. The grid's display style and information layout can be altered as well. With a simple right-click, you can place orders, open charts, view a market book, and more!

Order Entry

The order entry window is the most direct way for you to enter an order through Vantage. It provides access to all parameters associated with orders and allows you to pre-enter multiple orders for simultaneous transmission.

The Market Book

Using the Market Book window, you can view the activity of one account, as well as multiple accounts, for a particular contract/expiration at various prices. The screen allows you various types of order entry possibilities via left and right click options and buttons on the screen.

Chart Analysis

The chart analysis window lets you view historical information about a contract and apply statistical algorithms against it. Quick access to trading capabilities is available in the right click menu.

The Option Strike Matrix

This window is a view designed to show you all strike call/put permutations for a given contract. The grid contains open/close, bid/ask, volume, and open interest for each strike. The screen is divided by the strike price column with call information on the left and put information on the right. As always, trading capabilities are easily accesible from the right click menu.

Top Day Order Manager

This window provides you with a real-tim, scolling view of all activity of your account. The grid contains account, contract, status, and diagnostic information about each order. All columns on the grid can be relocated, removed, and resized. All columns can also be pinned against the left side to enable continued viewing during scrolling. In addition, each column can be filtered and sorted.

Trade History

This provides you with a query-based view of your trading activity. The screen has pre-defined queries designed to bring back normally needed views of data. In addition, you can perform ad-hoc filtering by several key values. Finally, you can also create your own custom queries containing one or more qualifying data conditions.

Pre -defined Layouts

Vantage's windows can be resized and arranged in many ways. You can create a layout which will save grid information, window size and positioning, and account/quantity information. Keep in mind when resizing windows that some have a minimum size to facilitate always showing the elements of the screen. Finally, don't forget that windows can also be 'floated' outside of the application window itself, allowing for many different possibilities in a multiple monitor configuration. You may create many different layouts to facilitate differenttypes of trading activity.
